Let’s take a moment before the political pie fights begin anew after today’s voting. They’ll be plenty of that on CNN and MSNBC.
Let’s get down to the real fight: what is the best kind of pie?
I’d be tempted to go for lemon meringue, but I don’t like the meringue part, so that would probably be dumb of me. (Wouldn’t be the first time.) I’m also a fan of Boston cream pie, but prefer to spell it crème, which would get us into a whole other kind of pie fight.
So, I vote for Key lime pie. Reminds me of the blue waters of the Caribbean and what I think Key West must have been like when Hemingway hung out at Sloppy Joe’s.
